It's an easy drive into Austin, about 30 mins so it's still a great place to stay if you're in town for ACL (Austin City Limits) or even F1 Race, or SWSX. Yes it's a cabin. It's 650sq ft designed for you to sleep and enjoy the outdoors. 

Guests have access to the entire property.  
This house is located 5 mins from Flat Creek winery and is near the end of a dirt road off Singleton Bend. The cabin is in a quiet & friendly lake side community where everyone knows each other. Absolutely no parties and strict noise ordinance please! Quiet hours are 10pm - 6am. 

You will need a car to get to this location. The entire property is walkable but coming back from the water is gentle uphill slope. It is recommended to be of decent physical shape to walk the hill from the shore.

The closest store (including groceries, Starbucks) is 17 mins away in Lago Vista.  Additionally, Jeep or off-road families will enjoy this cabin's close proximity to Hidden Falls Adventure Park which is just a 15 minute drive and features over 2000 acres of off-roading fun. The park offers so much to do with the family. There are ATV/UTV & dirt bike rentals, There is plenty of parking for 4 vehicles.  In the mood for a hike?  Balcones Canyonland Wildlife Refuge is just a few mins away.  We are also really close to Lago Vista if you're in the area for their festivals like Lago Fest or La Primavera!  There are other exciting things happening in Lago Vista like an new upcoming brewery. So if you're not ready to book, bookmark this listing!

If you're looking for more "city" activity, Cedar Park is 30 minutes way in one direction, and to the other direction (30 mins) you can visit Marble Falls.  Both places have some great restaurants and large grocery stores.

Our home is situation in one of Austin's most beautiful neighborhoods, Balcones Estates.  This is a quiet residential area with big funky looking mature trees, mid century modern homes and streets filled with joggers, cyclist, golf carts and tennis players.  Our 450sq ft studio features a kitchenette with electric stove, exhaust fan (it fans out of the unit), pots, pans, cooking utensils, silverware, wine glasses, wine opener, small fridge. Separate water heater. Full bathroom.

Two friendly dogs live on the property. 12 year old Jack is a shih poo. And 3 year old Oliver is a Golden Retriever. If you’re not comfortable with dogs, we can keep them out of the way but would require some communication between us so it’s clear when the dogs are outside doing their business. It’s worked well in the past where I let you know they are outside or you let me know when you’re on your way back from being out.

Your dogs is allowed on a case by case basis. Professional poop pick up service weekly. No cats, sorry bad allergies. 

We are available when you need us. We live on the property but our goal is to keep out of your way. Pool is not for guest use.
